Crypta Data is a reusable, self-contained,
battery powered device. It is permanently mounted, is extremely
rugged and will work in all weather conditions. It is easier
to use than disposable seals and offers real protection
of your assets because it can not be picked or manipulated.
Every time the vehicle is closed
a random seal number is automatically generated, the chances
of this number being duplicated is 1: 10,000. Reading this
seal number is as easy as touching a button which causes it
to be displayed via a large LED display.
The
last fifty (50) events are recorded in the unit's memory and
can also be recalled at the touch of a button or downloaded
through an infrared link. Each "event" consists
of the seal number,
the date closed, time closed, the date opened and the time
opened.
The Crypta Data electronic security
seal offers real time management of vehicle operations coupled
with security of merchandise in transit. Vehicle operation
information can be downloaded to a handheld computer in less
than one second and uploaded to a PC for automatic analysis
and reporting.
The information made available
from the use of Crypta Data can provide a quick return on
investment. This system enables you to run a more efficient
fleet; reorganize scheduled delivery times to actual times;
pin-point delivery bottlenecks; and identify illegal drops
and their regularity.
When used with TrailerTrak
Software, it enables you to maximize fleet performance
and reduce your costs. It is a simple job to backtrack through
or download events to recall all times and dates of closures
and openings, therefore quickly identifying any suspicious
intrusions. This backtrack download operation gives access
to much valuable information i.e.: all seal numbers, the number
of deliveries made on that day, the time the vehicle was opened
and the time between deliveries.
Download
capabilities provide automatic recording of delivery times,
dates and seal numbers of each individual vehicle. This method
offers instant hard copies of all events. When used with TrailerTrak
Software it can provide reports from security exceptions
to driver efficiency.
