Bohemia, NY -- Larry Ford has been named Vice President of Domestic Sales & Marketing by Protex International Corp. Effective in May, Mr. Ford was promoted after serving two and a half years as domestic sales manager for Protex’s cargo security seals division.
Mr. Ford came to Protex after spending 30 years at Eckerd Corp., where he worked his way up through various loss prevention positions, reaching the level of Vice President of Loss Prevention. During his four-year tenure as Vice President, Mr. Ford and his team worked closely with the Store Operations and Merchandising departments, orchestrating an impressive 60 percent reduction in shrinkage.
“Larry was given the task of starting a new product line for Protex with our security seals business partner, Unisto, and he proved that he is a dynamic leader who is successful in management, relationship building and sales,” said Steve Migliorino, President and CEO. “In his new executive position, Larry will be part of the senior management team, where he will help formulate and direct strategic decisions for Protex’s future growth.
