| The Guardian's compact design is ideal for use on end-cap displays, small countertops and applications when a small number of articles need to be secured. It contains four sensor inputs for use in protecting various electronic items including cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, cameras, etc. When used with the Loop Sensor it is a useful means for securing check-out gates. The Guardian has also been designed for use with magnetic contacts to protect showcases - the optional junction box and foot pedal allow the user to easily disable the alarm to open or close showcase doors. It is battery operated with AC power optional so that it can be installed almost anywhere.
Functionality Specs:
- "e;Alarm Type"e; programming allows for instant, delayed or non-latched alarm.
- The user is able to select a custom "e;Auto Re-arm"e; time of either 20, 30, 60, 180, 300 or 1800 seconds.
- User can choose from "e;Alarm Siren Types"e; including steady, pulse or hi-lo.
- User can choose from "e;Alarm Volumes"e; of high or low.
- LED and Audible Tone Status Indicators.
- Ability to program separate manager and user codes.
- Low Battery Indicator.
- Standard protection for 4 items, expandable to 8.
Configuration
The Guardian contains four (4) sensor ports for use with the EPA version sensors. It also works with the 2", 4" and 9" Loop Sensors. Sensors can be inserted directly into the ports or via our modular extension cables. The functionality is similar to both the EPA and ProLink in that once the alarm is armed, if the sensor is removed from the product or disconnected from the sensor port, the unit will go into alarm mode.
The Guardian is easily mounted with tape, screws or standard brackets.
