Protex International is pleased to announce that Larry Ford has joined the the Protex team as Director of Special Projects, bringing over 30 years of Retail LP and Operations experience to our staff. Larry's experience enhances our ability to better understand the issues you face and is invaluable in the development of new solutions that will enable Protex to sustain industry leadership in the ever changing retail security landscape.

Larry most recently held the position as VP of Loss Prevention at the Eckerd Corporation. Working his way up through Store Operations and various LP related positions, his career at Eckerd spanned more than 30 years. During his 4 year tenure as VP, Larry and his team, working closely with Store Operations and Merchandising, orchestrated an impressive 60% reduction in shrinkage, utilizing various tools and treatments including:

• POS exception system query and report design
• Employee training/awareness and incentive programs
• Multi department Shrink reduction focus
• Robust shrinkage analysis and intranet information delivery
• Item level shrink identification and treatment plans
• Drug theft analysis and investigative systems
